A few years ago, I had the privilege of traveling to Rwanda, Africa on a three-week missions trip. Along with everything else I packed, I brought along my camera. At that time, I was beginning to have an interest in photography and desiring to learn all I could about taking photos.

One evening, we were out playing with some of the Rwandan children next to our guest house and naturally I had my camera by my side. Before too long, I had kids swarming around my legs wanting their photo taken just so they could see their image on the display screen. I was in awe of how much joy it brought to these little ones just to see their faces, knowing that some may have never seen a picture of themselves before.

Seeing little Rwandan faces light up when I took their picture inspired me. It was the start of a dream to use my photos to influence life change, happiness and allow others to feel beautiful exactly the way they were created.

My goal is not to produce perfect photos, but to be an asset in bringing The Light and joy to others through art & photography.
